Farwell Party
Before we moved to New York City we had a Farwell Party. It was fun and outrageously crazy! 
We feel that we are very lucky to have such good friends!
Apartment hunting!
It is not easy to find the perfect and not too pricey apartment in Manhattan but I will keep on looking. .
A walk in the morning in New York City
It is dark outside but the city never sleeps. I love the feeling of being part of this, and to be able to walk down the streets. In the morning when go for a walk I hear other people talk, I can smell newly brewed coffee in every corner, and I know I have just passed the border; the border of success, of making my dreams come true, everything feels so new. I take a bite of a bagel, which is just simply plain and it looks like it is going to start to rain. I can see a yellow cab and hear the siren from a fire truck. I have not realized that I have had such luck. Looking up at the skyscrapers I see the lights and that gives me insight into how this became so right. I left my comfort zone, but that does not make me feel alone. I have created a new life and that makes me feel so bright. When I go for a walk in the morning on the streets of New York City, I see a view that I will describe as gorgeous and pretty. /Henrietta Grue

Valentine’s Day
January 1st I went into Duane Reade and found these cute boxes of chocolate for Valentine’s Day. But, isn’t it a little too early??
Week 1
First week of college went well. We do have a lot of assignments and projects to do and it is very interesting. I am happy that I decided to continue my college education. As you might not know I studied one quarter last year in New York. Now, I am back and this time it is forever!

First year anniversary!
It has already been a year since we got married! Unfortunately we are not able to celebrate this day together since I am in New York and Mattias hasn’t arrived yet. But we did celebrate before I moved and we had a great time. I am so happy that I have found my soulmate! We will always remeber this day!

Today is the first day of the Winter Quarter and I am very eager to start. I hope this education Will meet my expectations but I am pretty sure it will. A new chapter of my life has just begun so, wish me luck!
Idag är första dagen på första kvartalet i skolan och jag är ivrig med att få sätta igång. Jag hoppas denna utbildningen kommer uppnå mina förväntningar men jag är rätt säker på att den kommer göra det. Ett nytt kapitel av mitt liv har just börjat. Önska mig lycka till!

Skype is my new best friend
How on earth could people live without Skype before? I just don’t understand it. I have already become a loyal user! I have been spoken to my husband a lot since I arrived in New York. I love the way we can communicate and at the same time look at each other.
Anyway, I am now staying at my friends apartment. Three girls in a small studio. Yes, you heard right but I have to tell you that it is very cozy. Last night we watched Sex and the City 2 and I had gosebumps all over my body all the time. I still can’t believe that I am really here in New York the city of my dreams!
Hur i hela fridens namn klarade sig människor utan Skype för i tiden? Jag förstår det helt enkelt inte. Jag har redan blivit en duktig användare! Jag har redan pratat med min make flera gånger sedan jag kom hit till New York. Jag älskar hur man kan kommunicera samtidigt som man ser på varandra.
Hur som helst, igår anlände jag hos mina tjejkompisar. Vi bor tre tjejer i en studio apartment. Det vill säga en etta i svenska mått. Ja, det är sant men det är samtidigt oerhört mysigt. Igår kväll tittade vi på Sex and the City och jag hade gåshud genom hela filmen. Jag kan fortfarande inte förstå att jag är här i New York, staden som jag älskar över allt annat!
